Lang 8 Blog #3 - My Daily Life

私は６時に起きます。
一日中、日本の音楽を聞きます。
スキャンダルが素晴らしいと思います。
すぐ、歯を磨きます。
それから、シャワーを浴びます。
時々、コンタクトレンズをつけます。
いい天気なら、犬とバスケットボールをします。
でも、上手ではありません。
毎日、文法を勉強します。
漢字も勉強します。
たくさん漢字を書けます。
でも、たくさん漢字を読むのは難しいです。
自分で、日本語を勉強しています。
大学で日本語を勉強しているわけではありません。
私の家族のレストランで働いています。
毎日働きます。
私は家に帰るとき、疲れています。
だから、早く寝ます。
おやすみなさい。

Lang-8 Blog #2: 東京

I made my second blog post on Lang-8 today, and I'm proud to say that I only made a couple of mistakes.  Also, I was able to express what I needed to see, even though I used simple Japanese.  As usual, the English translation will follow.

私は東京に行ったことがあります。昨年の夏、行きました。そして、７月２日から８月８日まで英語を教えた。楽しかったです。私は東京スカイツリーを見ました。でも、上りませんでした。富士山は曇りでした。私はまた日本に行きたい。

Tokyo

I have been to Tokyo.  I went last summer.  And I taught English from July 2 to August 8.  It was fun.  I saw the Tokyo Sky tree.  But I didn’t go up. Mt. Fuji was cloudy.  I want to go to Japan again.

Introducing Myself in Japanese on Lang-8

Today was a big day.  I made an account on the social network site of the language learning world, Lang-8.  I just wrote a short post today, and I wanted to share it.  The English translation will follow the Japanese text.  My goal is to practice writing a paragraph or two every week on Lang-8, so it can be another way for me to track my progress over time.

SPYAIRとSCANDALとBACK-ONが好きです。

私はたくさん漢字を書けます。でも、読める漢字は多くありません。

My name is Adam.  I study Japanese by myself.  I love Japanese music.  I like Spyair, Scandal, and Back-On.  I can write a lot of kanji.  But I can’t read many kanji.  Every week, I want to write on Lang-8.
